As a born
and raised Pennsylvania deer hunter and trout fisherman, I have
come to enjoy sharing my hunting and fishing experiences and
acquired knowledge. If you are new to hunting or fishing or you
are seasoned veterans, learning about ways to become successful
at harvesting deer or catching more fish is a never-ending
thirst.
Hunting and fishing can all be very puzzling, even intimidating,
especially, when you are first starting out. Learning where big
trout may lurk or where in the big woods to look for deer is the
key to their discovery. Their discovery comes when you better
understand both habitat and behavior.
What are the tools of the trade? What do I need and what is
“having the right equipment”? There are always new products on
the market, but which of these products are really helpful?
There’s a difference between “essential” equipment and being
equipped. To become completely streamlined and efficient it is
good to understand the difference and how it can help you.
It has always been fun to exchange ideas among fellow
outdoorsman to learn from each other and share some of the
“tricks of the trade” in an effort to, not only help you
succeed, but to help you thoroughly enjoy the experience that
comes from a day in the woods or on a stream. Each time in the
field creates the memories from which reminiscent conversation
about the “ones that got away” or the big buck or the beauty of
a sunset to end your day comes from. Nature is a wondrous and
beautiful place filled with the unexpected.
I have developed this website to share with you what I do, what
I use and how I go about deer hunting and trout fishing. My
lifetime of deer hunting and fishing experience and techniques
will help to guide you to your success. It is the journey that
should be best remembered, not just the destination.
